Debbie is very busy at The American Theatre, where she helps in the box office, assists the house manager for different performances and supports many other business duties. When she is not at The Theatre you can find her at The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center assisting the gallery manager with the daily necessities of running a gallery: installations of exhibitions, opening receptions, classes and upcoming events. Debbie loves her job because she gets to help everyone. She never considers it work — she thinks of it as “having too much fun!” Debbie moved here in 1975 and graduated from ODU earning a BS degree in Psychology in 1976. She has raised two wonderful daughters, both of whom have earned art degrees. Guess you could say art was and still is a major part of their lives. When Debbie is not at work she is working in her yard or on her house and enjoying friends and family.
