The Singing Swingles

What was then called The Swingle Singers is now a group known simply as The Swingles. The acapella group was founded in 1962 by Ward Swingle, a singer who gathered the group to sing background vocals for French greats like Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf.

Although over the years the group has gained and lost members, the Swingles brand continues to grow! The group not only tours the world as a unique, acapella singing ensemble, but it annually curates the London A Capella Festival in King's Place.

With an immense history of covers from more than fifty years, The Swingles are now adding to their legacy by writing new songs--still only producing music with their voices!

Check out a few of their original songs:

The Swingles - Narnia

The Swingles - Unmade

The Swingles - Forgotten

See The Swingles perform these songs as well as a surplus of covers showing off their amazing vocal range this Saturday, April 6 at 8pm at The American Theatre: Buy Tickets
