Arts Administration Manager
Hampton Arts (The American Theatre and The Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center) seeks candidates for the new position of Arts Administrative Manager. The Arts Administration Manager works under the general supervision of the Artistic Director. This position will, in coordination with the Artistic Director, manage and execute a number of responsibilities across the department including to oversight of Guest Services and Front of House operations; management and fulfilment of venue rental inquiries, prospects and contracts; execution of company/artist service needs including hotel and travel needs; artistic office administration needs and activities; management of needs for Hampton Arts Foundation and Hampton Commission on the Arts; coordination of Foundation fundraising activities, including annual Gala planning, meeting agenda/minutes, annual fund letter and grant tracking. 5-7 years’ experience in arts administration, stage management, development, theatre or performing arts experience. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, computer literate, team player with passion for arts, with a detailed ability for organization, diplomacy, communication and sense of humor. Salary range $41,512 - $43,587 plus excellent benefits.

Assistant Visual Arts Center Manager
The Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center seeks candidates for the Assistant Visual Arts Center Manager. This position will assist the Visual Arts Center Manager in the planning, organization and execution of visual arts exhibitions and fine arts classes and programs for Hampton Arts. Assistant Manager will manage staffing schedules and front desk coverage; manage and coordinate exhibition receptions and staffing; in coordination with departmental Finance Team collect, deposit, and settle monies from center financial transactions; manage the contractual process for jurors, artists, teaching artists, arts classes and camps and ensure all payments are made to teaching artists as per contracts; manage online class software creation and maintenance. In absence of Visual Arts Center Manager, position will be responsible for supervision over staff, teachers, volunteers and other stakeholders. 3-5 years’ experience in visual or fine arts; Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy imperative. The successful candidate will also be a collaborative, team player with passion for arts, culture and community with a sense of humor, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Salary range $34,152 – $35,859 annually plus excellent benefits.
